Physical chemistry – computational course for teachers, Electroanalytical methods
Ivana works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Physical Chemistry at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. Her current research is focused on developing of a new electrochemical sensor for insulin determination and electrochemical detection of viruses. In 2019, she finished her doctoral study at the Department of Physical chemistry with the topic of dissertation thesis: Nanostructured materials for electro catalytic application. She took part in three internships, at Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena focused on working with cell cultures and two at the Masaryk University in Brno focused on electrochemical determination of bioanalytes. The results of her research were presented at international conferences and published in current content journals. She is the first authors of two articles in journal Elecroanalysis and Bioelectrochemistry and co-author of three other articles. Since 2015 she is a member of the Slovak Chemical Society and participants in the establishment of the Forum of young chemists Slovak under 35 of Slovak Chemical Society.
