Frederika Chovancová is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Physical Chemistry at the Faculty of Science, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. She graduated with a Bachelor´s degree in Biology – Chemistry and a Master´s in Physical Chemistry at Pavol Jozef Šafarik University. Her doctoral dissertation aims to research the development of electrochemical sensors for bioanalytes determination. She is currently working on the development of a non-enzymatic nanosensor for biomedical applications under the supervision of Dr. Šišoláková.
During her studies, she attended Erasmus Internships in the Centre of Polymer Systems in Zlín, Czech Republic. She is a co-author of two scientific articles, and her scientific results were presented at domestic and foreign conferences. She is teaching a Physical Chemistry course and Electroanalytical methods.
