Jana Demeterová is a first-year PhD student in Physical Chemistry at the Department of Physical Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, under the supervision of Dr. Šišoláková. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and continued with a Master’s degree in Physical Chemistry. She has participated in a student scientific conference, where she achieved a top placement, worked as a Student Research Assistant, and has been involved in research projects. Her research focuses on the development of electrochemical sensors, particularly exploring the potential of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) as modification materials to enhance the performance of electrochemical sensors for bioanalyte determination.
